§ 7.3.1. Intent and purpose.

It is the intent of the city that every new residential and non-residential development or redevelopment applicant constructs his portion of the city's sidewalk network and that a complete sidewalk network is constructed in the city. The purpose of this section is to ensure a complete sidewalk network is constructed in the city. This network will allow for the safe and efficient movement of pedestrians and allow students a safe route to a public school facility.
