  § 70-444. Water service user charges.

  • (a)

    Residential single-family, residential multifamily, commercial, industrial and government. The following monthly rate for water service shall be applied to all residential single-family, residential multifamily, commercial, industrial and government users:

    The effective rates established on October 1, 2019 shall continue until subsequently amended by ordinance adopted by the city council.

    (b)

    Irrigation or process water meter. A water meter specifically installed and connected solely to irrigate or process water equipment, such water shall not be counted in computing waste water service charges. Water use charges shall be as follows, except that impact charges may be considered covered by existing installation unless such special water use comprises additional amounts not covered by the original impact payment:

    (c)

    Annual fire protection system fee. An annual fire protection system fee of $40.57 shall be charged for each 5,000 square feet of building or part thereof.
